STRESS MANAGEMENT MEANS FINDING WAYS TO QUICKLY RELEASE TENSION…
Stress, anxiety, anger and tension are all feelings that can build up in your body and cause both physical and psychological distress. So to help you here are two stress management strategies to release physical tension very quickly. These are two simple ways that work effectively and quietly for you.
STRESS MANAGEMENT RELEASE STRATEGY ONE
Carry a small smooth stone with you. This ‘stress release stone’ needs to be of a size that it can sit comfortably in the palm of your hand but you can easily close your fist while holding the stone. Whenever you feel tense, put the stone in the palm of your hand and then squeeze the stone in your hand as hard as you can making a fist. Then slowly release your fist. Do this a few times and feel the tension leave your body.
You can use this strategy anywhere and anytime. You can use it in such stressful situations as meetings when the tension builds to help you remain calm and in control and nobody else will really know.
STRESS MANAGEMENT RELEASE STRATEGY TWO
Don’t want to carry a small stone? You can get the same results using this second strategy. Simply press the center of your palm with the thumb of your other hand. Press hard into your hand and then slowly release the pressure exerted by your thumb. Do this a few times and it will help to release your physical tension.
As with the previous strategy, you can use this simple technique to quickly release tightness, stress and tension from your body.
